In the early morning, a car will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to bring you to the Ollantaytambo Station (1,5 hours) where we will board our train (1 hour) to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town). Here, our tour guide for the Inca sanctuary will be waiting for us and will accompany us on a bus that will take us up to Macchu Picchu in approximately 30 minutes.
In a guided tour of two hours, we will be introduced to the Inti Huatanay, the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Temple of the Condor, and other important places.
After the guided tour, you will have free time to explore Machu Picchu, take photographs or rest while contemplating Machu Picchu. In total, we will spend two hours and 30 minutes at Machu Picchu.
Back down in Aguas Calientes, you can enjoy a tourist lunch at a restaurant of your choice and will have free time to visit the streets and squares of Aguas Calientes before we will board our train back to Ollantaytambo. A car will pick us up at the train station and drop you off in the historic center of Cusco.
